Last week, representatives from Whittle Programmed Maintenance and Johnstone’s Trade met with our ‘Win a Makeover’ competition winner, The Nethersole C of E Academy, and we are delighted to give a mid-term report on progress.
The meeting went very well, and they talked through the planned makeover for decorating the Academy’s secondary library area which is also used as a breakout area.
Johnstone’s Trade are preparing some mood boards for the colour specification service, including suggestions for furniture that the school could use as part of the overall scheme to give the area a more contemporary, inviting and inspiring feel. Johnstone’s have taken plenty of photos of the area, and a photo editor will overlay them with colour so that the client can clearly visualise their proposals on the colour scheme.
The works are likely to be carried out during the October half term holiday.
We look forward to starting work on this project and making an inspiring difference to an important learning space. Further progress reports will follow.
