  Before:

Works involved blast cleaning the existing paintwork to S.A. 2.5 from a fully encapsulated scaffold including dehumidification. Some of the paints removed contained lead and these where removed in accordance with the local environmental agency including a site decontamination unit, blood testing of operatives and safe removal of waste by an approved waste carrier           

  After:

On completeion of the blasting and inspection by Network Rail personel a four part epoxy coating system was applied to Network Rail's specification, including blast primer, intermediate coats and a polyurethane finish.
