Health and Safety

Health and Safety is extremely important to E & P Painting Contractors Limited.

E & P believe Health and Safety is paramount, all four directors fully accept their responsibility in accordance with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 to themselves, all their employees and anyone else who could be effected by our actions.

The companies Health and Safety Management System is operated in accordance with the requirements of OHSAS 18001 and we are in the process on achieving external accreditation to this standard by October this year.

E & P use an external Health and Safety Advisor, who ensures compliance with all Regulations and to monitor health and safety on all our sites.

All employees are fully trained for every activity they undertake, each employee has their own 'passport' (E & P record of training and development). 

We fully understand that the industry that we work in needs constant attention to make sure we always have safe working practices.

This year E & P have been awarded the British Safety Council Award for the tenth consecutive year.

We continually invest in developing our health and safety performance through management audits and ensuring all our employees have the correct training required (Industry recognised qualifications) for every task they undertake.

All risks are assessed, removed where possible or reduced where required.
